I do provide expedited services for Apostille (for countries participating in the Hague Convention), or State level certification as well as U.S. Department of State certification and Consular Authorization/Legalization certification (for countries that do not participate). When required, I can also provide translation to the language needed and notarization of all documentation.

There is an additional service fee of $200.00 for my time (4-5 hours in-person procuring and handling all documentation needed); $11.50 per additional copy of marriage license/certificate; $95.00 Apostille/Certification Lt. Gov office fee; in some cases a certificate from the U.S. Department of State is also required $20.00 fee; service for certified translation in over 90 languages and notarization of all documentation are available, fees vary based on number of documents (typically 3 or 4 pages at $25.00 per page) and whether or not notarization is required (if it is the fee is $20.00 per packet); each country’s consulate has different pricing for their certification process and can range anywhere from $13.00 – $150.00; postal/courier service fees vary depending on number of agencies involved and final destination of all documentation. Within the U.S., I utilize FedEx, and DHL for international shipping.

The time frame involved for Apostille only is typically within 1 week. The time frame for a State Level certificate plus a U.S. Dept. of State certificate is averaging about 12 weeks and most of the world’s  consulates/embassies are stating a minimum of 3-8 weeks for their processing.  Some consulates also require additional documentation , such as a statement of acknowledgement, a completed application form and color photo copies of your government issued photo identification (typically a passport).
